The 2026 World Shooting Championship volunteer staff will be responsible for helping to set up, operate, and tear down the match, supporting over 300 competitors through the event. All staff will receive room and board while supporting the match. All volunteer staff are eligible to compete in a special staff match with their own prize table. Volunteer staff that elect not to compete will receive one entry per day on site for the ability to be drawn to walk a special prize table. The staff registration opens on January 2 and closes on May 1. Here are the key event dates:
Pre-Staging: September 19-20
Set-up Dates: September 21-24
Staff Match: CRO September 25-26; RSO Shoot September 27-28
Competitor Check-in, Hospitality, and Safety Brief: September 29
Main Match: September 30 - October 2
Team Shootoff: October 3
Tear Down: October 3-6
